Am
I too late to order my pictures?
It is never too late to order your photographs. CanGrad Studios
does not destroy, or dispose of the negatives. Orders older than
one year may incur a nominal retrieval fee but we are still able
to print them.
What
is the difference between deluxe laminated prints and matte
prints?
The proof that you received is a matte print. A deluxe laminated
print is the same matte print but it is sealed with a thin
protective plastic layer on both sides. Lamination gives your
prints additional U.V. protection and strength for a longer
life.
Do
I have to make an appointment for graduation or family
portraits?
Yes, you will need to make an appointment to have a graduation
or family portrait taken. You can do so by calling or emailing the
Studio.
What
is retouching?
Retouching is the removal of facial blemishes from your portrait
photographs. We digitally retouch photographs to remove unwanted
blemishes or shadow under the eyes. This service is done by
request when you write down exactly what you would like
retouched on your order form. Please keep in mind that hair,
teeth, eyes, and five o'clock shadow cannot be retouched.
What is a Photo CD?
A photo CD contains a copy of your image(s). This is an original jpeg file large enough to be printed in a range of sizes. Photo CD's are offered for sale with our convocation/graduation and grade/secondary school photographs when you order over a certain amount of photographs. Please see the order form for details.
I
have not received my photographic proof, what should I do?
If you have not received your proof it may be that we were not
given a complete address (no apartment # for example), or if you
have deferred your graduation you may have not been listed in
the database that was supplied to us. In any event, please
contact us with the relevant information, which is: your name,
school, degree and date of graduation.
The
proof has someone else in the photograph, what should I do?
Occasionally the ceremonies do not follow the order listed and
you may receive someone else's proof. Usually this is a person
who is before or after you. If this has happened, please contact
us and also alert us if you know the person, or if they went up
before or after you.
Am
I in the video? How long is it?
Yes, if you attended the graduation from The University of
Toronto, or Brock University you will be in the video. Each
ceremony is taped from the opening with the Academic Procession
and closes with their departure. There is also a brief
introduction from each school.
