CanGrad Studios is a family owned Toronto based photography company that was founded in 1992. For schools, teams and business portraits, we have a strong understanding of what your needs are, and how important your photographs are.

With our in house photographic & digital labs, and studio, we are able to produce a product of the highest quality. At CanGrad Studios, our focus is on you!

PORTRAIT

At CanGrad we shoot all of our portrait with state of the art Canon cameras and accessories. We take extra time and care to ensure that we take the best picture possible of each person.

Your portrait can be taken in our studio or your school or office. Our photo-finishing lab is state-of-the-art and allows us to provide excellent response time to your order. Each and every photograph that we print is checked to ensure the highest level of quality control. Our in house digital computer lab gives us the advantage of precise digital retouching and crystal clear class composites.

SCHOOL

Our approach to your school photography does not change, whether it be J.K. or PhD. We will work hard to make sure that we are able to capture the best photograph of you and your students.

We want you to be proud of your photographs and proud of your school.
At CanGrad we keep all of our images on file, and we do not throw them away or destroy them after a certain amount of time. As with our portrait photography, we will travel to your school, and work within your schedule.

SPORTS TEAMS & ASSOCIATIONS

At CanGrad we will work with your group and organisation to get the best team and individual images. We have new and exciting ways to update the “traditional” sports photography and enjoy working with the kids to make it happen.

We will work with your organisation to find the best and most convenient day and time to take the photos.  We will then establish dates to get the images back to the players well before the end of the season or banquet.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

CanGrad Studios will photograph your graduation/convocation ceremony and email each graduate their images of them being laureated or receiving their degree/diploma, with an order form and online link. We can shoot these ceremonies from a discreet location so as not to interrupt the ceremony, or draw attention to us, on this important day.

As a special feature we are pleased to offer the unique ability to inscribe the school name and crest on all of our 5″x7″ prints. This feature has been extremely well received by the students and the schools alike!

Am I too late to order my pictures?

It is never too late to order your photographs. CanGrad Studios does not intentionally destroy, or dispose of the negatives or images. There are no late or retrieval fees and the turnaround is the same as if it were taken this year.

What is the difference between laminated prints and our standard professional luster prints?

A laminated print is the same as our professional luster matte print but it is sealed with a thin protective plastic layer on both sides. Lamination gives your prints additional U.V. protection and strength for a longer life.

Do I have to make an appointment for graduation or family portraits?

Yes, you will need to make an appointment to have a graduation or family portrait taken. You can do so by emailing the Studio at mail@cangrad.com .

I have not received my photographic proofs, what should I do?

If you have not received your proofs it may be that we were not given a complete email or home address (no apartment # for example), or if you have deferred your graduation you may have not been listed in the database that was supplied to us. In any event, please contact us with the relevant information, which is: your name, school, degree and date of graduation.

Where can I find my customer number?

If you received your proofs in the mail, your customer will be in the bottom left box, above your name and mailing address. If you received your proofs by email, your customer number will be at the beginning of the email. Your customer number will look something like “PS201201-999”
